As of 07 December 2015, The Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks (CGPDTM), India joins TMclass. With CGPDTM on-board, TMclass now contains data from 57 participating offices.
TMclass helps users to search for and classify Goods and Services (terms) needed to apply for trade mark protection. Users can also translate a list of Goods and Services and verify if those terms appear in the classification databases of the Participating Offices.
This successful integration is the result of the EU-INDIA Intellectual Property Cooperation (IPC-EUI) project co-funded by the European Union and the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market within the framework of the International Cooperation Programme and in close collaboration with CGPDTM.
